Business Studies
Business Studies is a dynamic subject which pupils can identify with on a daily basis. The topics covered are: Business Objectives, Accounting, Budgeting, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Micro and Macro economic concepts and Law.
Business Studies at Finborough School provides students with useful skills which they can actually use in the real world – whether or not they decide to go to university, or straight into the work place. The budgeting section will be especially useful when leaving school!
AS and A2 Business Studies is offered via the AQA examination board. The AS comprises of two modules offered in January and June of the lower sixth, and the two A2 modules at the same times in the upper sixth year.
