Head of Prep School

We are looking to recruit for the position of Head of Prep School from January/April 2011.  We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in a leadership position in or outside of education. The successful applicant will be passionate and ambitious about developing the prep school.  In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of people. This will include areas such as performance management and improving communication from and to the prep school.

 

You will be the first point of contact for parents within the prep school and feel comfortable to maintain and improve relations with parents and pupils. You will have a detailed knowledge and understanding of pastoral and academic education from Nursery to KS2.  In this role you will also be responsible for maintaining a rigorous evidence based process of evaluation for areas of improvement within the school.

 

The successful applicant will join the Senior Leadership Team and play a key part in shaping the future of the school. Involvement in extra-curricular activities and the marketing of the prep school are also key parts to the role.  The successful applicant will have the drive and determination to improve standards, be a role model for staff and pupils and be comfortable working with the senior team to deliver the strategic plan.
