Finborough pupils and staff assemble to mourn the tragic passing of alumnus Cameron Tredgett.
Following the tragic news over the weekend that recent Finborough alumnus nineteen year old Cameron Tredgett lost his life in an accident near his home in the United States, we will be holding a special church assembly on Friday morning for our senior pupils.
We will also be opening a book of condolence available in the school entrance hall for a week following the assembly for anyone to write a message for the family at this terribly sad time.
There will be a collection at the end of the assembly and across the next week. Staff and pupils who knew this outstanding young man best want to use the money given to commission a memorial bench to be situated looking over the cricket pitch where Cameron so loved to play.
All of our thoughts are with the Tredgett family, the reflections shared by staff and pupils about this very special young man have been beautifully poignant and warm. The impact he had on our school and boarding house with his younger brother Oliver was great and will never be forgotten.
