U13 NETBALL SUCCESS

Our U13 Netball squad had a very successful day at the ISA tournament, with 6 wins and 2 unfortunate losses. The shooters played an extremely strong game in the attacking D; moving effectively around the D to maintain possession throughout the day. Despite the windy conditions, the girls managed to shoot brilliantly. In mid court, the girls were able to move and create space amongst the different channels; in order to support the defence and attack effectively. The girls played fantastically in defence; making some great interceptions from passes and rebounds. A particular highlight of the day was the semi-final against Langley Prep. The girls previously lost against them in the round robin with a 4-2 loss, but managed to win 7-4. Due to coming second, the girls are now through to the national finals! The girls are now focusing on their speed of play and communication on the court ready to take on the National Finals!
