ISA Swimming National Finals 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♂️
On Saturday 30th November, Mr Haycock and 5 swimmers travelled to the Queen Elizabeth Centre to take part in the ISA Swimming National finals, representing the East.
Casper MS (Year 11) – Breaststroke, Backstroke, Medley Relay (Back), Freestyle Relay. Angus B (Year 8) – Freestyle Relay. Holly N (Year 6) – Medley Relay (Fly), Butterfly. ED (Year 6) – Freestyle Relay. Emily S (Year 5) – Freestyle Relay.
Holly’s medley team came 5th, but she beat her PB by 2 seconds. Casper came 5th in his backstroke but he was swimming against Sixth Formers. Emily worked hard to gain ground in her relay but ensured that they came 6th! Erin in her relay pushed her team from 4th to 3rd with some very fast swimming! Angus and his team came 3rd so he gained a Bronze Medal! 🥉Casper swam in 4 races and kept up his speed! 🏊🏻♂️
All of the swimmers did exceptionally well and represented the East and Finborough School to the highest merit! Well done everyone! A great day was had by all in an impressive venue!
