The week in Nursery

It was a busy week in for Nursery…
Milly J received a Deputy Head Commendation this week for her outstanding Mathematical knowledge. Milly was impressively able to independently match numeral to quantity by counting in her head! A remarkable skill for a child of her age.

‘All About Me.’
The Nursery children have also been studying the topic ‘All About Me.’
They listened to a story about how we are all different, and then had the opportunity to identify similarities and differences between themselves and their peers. Some children were able to recognise different skin tones, others could point out similar hair colours. We all agreed that it is nice to be different and have different interests.
