Foppolo 2022

After a two year hiatus our biggest ski group ever has returned this month after a brilliant trip to Foppolo in the Italian Alps.

Over one hundred students and staff navigated all the challenges of cross boarder travel and journeyed to our annual mountainous destination.
Skiers and snow boarders of all abilities from beginners to advanced made exceptional progress under the tutelage of the outstanding Italian instructors enjoying over six hours of lessons each day.

As we explored the pistes that we enjoyed almost exclusively for most of the trip, the exhilaration and fun etched on the faces of all was beautifully evident.

We enjoyed the highest possible level of hospitality at Hotel K2 with Gabriella, providing her usual wonderful welcome commencing a stay where nothing was ever too much trouble. The traditional Italian cuisine recognised in the Michelin guide was divine and kept us all fully fuelled for our adventurous exertions on the slopes.

We concluded our trip with presentations of certificates and medals to every student, recognising their progress and celebrating their enthusiasm and endeavour throughout the entirety of our time in Foppolo.

As we touched down at Stansted thoughts were already on the next visit to Foppolo in 2023.
