World Book Day 2022

What a fabulous day our Pre-Prep and Prep School had celebrating the 25th anniversary of World Book Day!! There were lots of activities and quiet time to read; as well as our Pre-Prep spending time with a special guest.
They were all absolutely captivated by our visit from Gerald Watts, author of Marvin the Mole. He explained about the development of writing over time, showing images of the earliest forms of writing, then how it has developed into the print forms we find in books today!
He then shared his brilliant story with the class and the children were able to take home a signed copy of Marvin the Mole.
