GSCE Success

After a stellar collection of A level results, we are incredibly pleased to report that the hard work abundantly evident from our year 11 students has been rewarded with an excellent set of GCSE grades.

Amidst a host of outstanding outcomes; Isy, Liv, Beth, Josh, Fran, Jess, Alistair and George demonstrated absolutely exceptional achievement and progress.

Amplifying celebrations yet further is the achievement of thirteen year 10 students who took combinations of examinations in Mathematics, Biology and Psychology a year early, ALL achieving the top three grades with Ollie leading the way with two grade 9’s, closely pursued by Kevin, Johnny, Jenny, Beatrice, Reggie and Tessa.

Mr Clark, our Headmaster reflected the monumental achievement and progress that this year’s examination results represent. The determined hard work of both students and teachers across the last two years has come to deserved fruition, coupled incredibly significantly with how our students have emerged as exceptional young men and women with powerfully positive characters.

Mr Collins who leads the Senior School at Finborough commented ’This particular cohort of students have been fantastic to work with over the past few years, and I’m absolutely delighted by the successes they have achieved.  There was an unprecedented level of commitment shown by both the students and their teachers leading up to the exams, and their rewards are richly deserved.’

We now look ahead to the new school year with many of our year 11 students remaining at Finborough for sixth form, joined by our biggest number ever of post 16 joiners eager to embrace all that the school family offers.
