Official All Weather Pitch Opening

Our all weather pitch facility was opened on Thursday September 15 by Olympic gold medallist hockey players Helen and Kate Richardson-Walsh. The day included activities for the students ranging from technique training, skills testing as well as matches.

The Students also enjoyed an inspirational speech from Helen and Kate followed by a Q&A session.

“I have seen hundreds of speeches over the years, and that’s the most inspirational one I’ve ever heard; I actually got a bit emotional watching it. It was so honest and raw, with pure passion and humility. It’s such an honour to have this new facility opened by two titans and to see the students so inspired.” Steven Clark

The new facility is part of ongoing developments at the school and has allowed the passion for hockey grow to new levels.
