U12 Rugby Festival

As the sun shone on Sunday we were all able to enjoy a great feast of rugby at the Annual U12 Rugby Festival held at Finborough School.
Teams from across the East of England including schools and clubs engaged in a fantastic day of rugby; enjoyed by parents supporting their children play.

The standard of rugby was exceptionally high with some outstanding skill and power on the pitches!

Congratulations to our Year 7 Rugby squad who remained unbeaten throughout the festival. They played Bedford School in the final, which went to extra time. The teams could not be separated by the RFU time deadline, so for the first time we had joint winners! A great day on our beautifully prepared Finborough pitches.

Finborough Headmaster Steven Clark thanked everyone involved and reflected on the collective joy shared by all that competed and bringing the communities together.
