Prep 3 Trio Run for Charity
A huge well done to Charley, Gabriella and James who today completed their charity run of 1 mile a day for 10 days.

This was an amazing heart felt challenge for the three Prep 3 children, please read their story below. There is still time to support the children, please visit their donations page here.

“Hi, our names are Charley, Gabriella and James and we are in year 3 at Finborough School.
We would like to help the local homeless as they are less fortunate than us. We found Helping Hands Suffolk which is a local, non-profit constitution so every penny we raise will go to the homeless. Providing them with life-saving necessities.
As young children we know we are lucky to be going to a great school and know we get lots of presents, food, support, warm and cosy beds at this time of the year. We realise that this isn’t the case for everyone including other young children and their families. This gave us the idea that we would like to help the homeless by raising some funds to help them be able to sleep warm at night and get warm meals and clothes to help them. This is a basic need that everyone should be entitled to.
To raise funds we are going to be completing a mile run every morning from the 4th of January for 10 days and would be so grateful and appreciative if you could sponsor us so we can reach our goal of raising £250 for blankets, sleeping bags, food and water, hot meals and all sorts of warm clothing.
Never forget that some people do not know where their next meal is coming from or whether they will make it through the night from the freezing temperatures. It is easy to take for granted the luxuries we have been born with or worked hard for. Some have been unfortunate to have lost these things through no fault of their own.
We would like to thank you all in advance for any donations and help you can provide to support us in reaching our goal. Thank you from Charley 7, Gabriella 7 and James 8. (Closing date for donations 31/01/2023)”
