La buena vida en Sevilla
Trip report by Eliza & Daisy
At 4:30 am, we all arrived at school ready to set off for our 4-day trip to Seville, excited for what we were going to experience once we got there. We had a packed itinerary including lots of tapas bars, a Mexican restaurant and a visit to the Señoritas family restaurant!
During our time in Seville, we went up ‘Las Setas’ where we took lots of photos of the amazing views of the city, we visited the Cathedral de Sevilla which was very impressive. We also went to the Plaza de España where one of the Star Wars films was filmed along with a bullfighters museum where we saw the bullring.
We went to a park where we had a go on big pedal bikes and saw lots of pigeons that landed all over us. We had a surprise activity on the final evening that turned out to be a theme park and it was so much fun, especially because it was nearly Halloween so there were lots of scare actors that chased us around the park. The girls queued for 80 minutes for one roller coaster! My favourite activity was the flamenco show because it was great to experience the Spanish culture through dance.
We all had different highlights from the trip, Hannah loved biking around the park, Aemilia enjoyed walking through the streets and taking the buses, Seb was a fan of the bullfighting museum and Harry enjoyed the food!
The Spanish culture was very interesting to us especially as some of us hadn’t been to Spain before. As a group we all liked the flamenco show and enjoyed eating Spanish food. It was really fun to learn about Spain while enjoying ourselves on our trip. I think we all made many memories that we will never forget and cherish forever. All the students enjoyed the experience massively.
