Finborough Pupils Excel in ISA National Swimming Competition
Harrison, Tilly and Amber competed for East Anglia in the ISA National Swimming Finals at the London Aquatics Centre on Friday. They were selected for the team following trial galas in Ipswich and Southend earlier in the month.
Congratulations to team on their individual and group results.
- Harrison swam in the Year 6 boys freestyle relay achieving 5th place.
- Tilly swam to victory in the Year 7 girls medley and freestyle relays winning 2 golds in her first ISA event.
- Amber achieved personal bests in the Year 8 50m backstroke and freestyle races coming in a very close 4th place in both, and won 2 bronze medals in the medley and freestyle relays.
East Anglia came 5th overall in what was, yet again, a wonderfullly organised and memorable event for our young swimmers.
