Finborough U19 Netball Squad Impress at National Schools East Region Competition
Finborough’s U19 girls’ netball squad delivered a superb performance at the National Schools Netball East Region competition over the weekend, showcasing determination, skill and impressive teamwork against some of the strongest schools in the region.
Across a demanding schedule of fixtures, the squad’s work rate never dipped. Mya produced standout defensive displays, consistently disrupting opposition attacks, while Bella excelled in the centre court, controlling play with composure and creativity.
In a highly competitive pool, Finborough secured three excellent wins against schools from across the East Region, earning a well‑deserved 5th‑place finish. The result marks a significant achievement for the squad and reflects the progress and commitment they have shown throughout the season.
