Magic Awaits: Finborough’s Upcoming Production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
Step through the wardrobe this January…
Finborough School is delighted to present a truly enchanting production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, brought to life by students from Year 8 to Year 13. Performed at the end of January, this ambitious production offers a rich, traditional retelling of one of literature’s most beloved stories – faithful to the original and full wonder and imagination.
Rehearsals began back in October 2025, and since then the cast and crew have been working under the direction of Drama Teacher, Jon Bridgeman, to create a production that promises to be both visually striking and emotionally powerful.

Away from the spotlight, students are taking on key roles behind the scenes working on lighting, hair and make-up, stage management, and technical support. These behind-the-scenes roles are a big part of what makes Finborough’s performing arts programme so special. They give students the chance to develop practical skills and grow in creativity, teamwork, and confidence, both on stage and behind it.
