Excellent transport connections
Our excellent transport connections make Finborough one of the most accessible UK boarding schools. Located just minutes from Stowmarket train station, our school is ideally positioned for families seeking boarding schools near Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, and Colchester. All of these are less than an hour away by direct train or the school bus.
Finborough is also a popular choice for families looking for boarding schools near London. With a direct train line to Stratford and Liverpool Street, pupils can easily reverse-commute from the city, making the beautiful Suffolk countryside remarkably close and convenient. Stanstead airport is just over an hour away by car and we are able to support with transfers, to and from, school.
Whether you’re seeking a boarding school near East Anglia or a well-connected UK boarding school offering a nurturing and ambitious environment, Finborough School is the ideal choice.
