The school day in the Senior School starts with registration at 8.40am. We then have five lessons, each of one hour, followed by an enrichment period.
Short gaps between lessons ensure that each period has a crisp start and end. All students, from Years 7 – 13, are involved in our extensive enrichment programme which ends at 4.30pm. After this students may go home or stay for an hour of supervised study before leaving at 5.30pm. Day students have the option of a meal before finally leaving at 5.50pm. Boarders return to their Houses at 5.30pm, where they follow an evening programme including supper, activities and study time.
The day for Sixth Form students follows the same pattern but they will usually have some study time built into the school day when they will be expected to use their dedicated study facilities and work independently.
