Sixth Form

At the top of the school our Sixth Form is open to students from our own Year 11 and young adults joining us for post-sixteen education.

You join a thriving and growing community with a rich curriculum and wealth of opportunities.

We offer an unrivalled level of support and challenge, with close academic and pastoral care made possible by small classes, excellent teaching and an exceptional attention to detail. The pastoral team comprises of a team of specialised tutors who provide one-one support for our students as they embark on their last stage of schooling, from help with organising their schedules and study, to guiding them through their next steps to find their ideal career pathway.

All of our students enjoy an individualised programme built around both academic success and the best preparation for life. We focus intently on their progress and the requisite learning skills required both for their academic qualifications and going forward to university and beyond. Character development is always at the forefront of our mind and we ask that all Sixth Form are involved in some form of leadership, mentoring or coaching to develop their interpersonal skills.

Our unique ‘Learnability’ approach engenders a powerful self-awareness that results in the motivation required to navigate successfully through all appropriate qualifications. Within this framework, students are asked to develop their targets to make further progress in their studies.

Developing well rounded young adults who have the aspiration and confidence for success is achieved through our Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers’ programme. This dovetails beautifully with a plethora of experiences on offer that make our students stand out from the crowd.
